Our clients, a young family, engaged us to help decorate their new home in Richmond, Victoria with a focus on simple, easy living. Their home needed to be an oasis of calm amidst the busyness of a young family. We opted for a light, bright Scandinavian aesthetic with a preference for Australian-made products. A combination of off-the-shelf and custom furniture pieces, made to suit their individual needs (particularly a desire for plenty of storage!); resulted in a cohesive and practical scheme that is also warm and inviting. We also added external shading, protecting their well-used garden terrace from the Westerly heat load in summer.
